UBC Certificate of Participation

Raise your personal profile with a UBC Certificate

All team members who complete Round 1 of the UBC can download a certificate of participation to include in their personal record, CV or resume. Team members who progress through to subsequent rounds are also awarded UBC certificates foe each round completed.

Why make a record of your employability skills?

So you can identify a story that shows an employer that makes you stand out in an interview or assessment centre. Keeping a record of your employability skills is valuable because when it comes to applying for internships, placements and graduate schemes, you need to assess your strengths and to give examples of situations which helped develop them.

Skills developed by UBC

Participating in the UBC gives you a story to talk about because it provides evidence that you have developed these skills: Remember, the UBC is specifically designed to introduce graduates to top employers and to develop employability and enterprise skills such as:
• Analytical skills
• Commercial awareness
• Influencing skills
• Leadership
• Planning and organising
• Time-management
• Team-working
• A results-driven approach
• Financial awareness
• Innovation in problem-solving
• Managing the customer relationship
